Make a photo slideshow with music and titles

To make a photo slideshow in Kublaro, add images from your project to the video timeline, set each Image duration, arrange the sequence and add titles or an uploaded soundtrack. Export produces a playable MP4. Each still can last 0.5 to 30 seconds, within the overall limit of 20 clips and 180 seconds.

Before you start

Choose images with a clear sequence: an opening, supporting details and a final message. Select the final 16:9, 9:16 or 1:1 frame and inspect the centered crop. This workflow holds still images on screen; it does not animate the subject or add automatic camera movement.

A practical example

Five photos, one 15-second sequence

Add five images and set each duration to three seconds. With direct cuts, the slideshow lasts 15 seconds. Add a brief opening title and a soundtrack of suitable length. If you choose dissolve, overlapping scenes can make the final export shorter; check the rendered duration and title times.

How to do it in Kublaro

  1. Add your images

Upload the images to a project or use images already generated there. Click each image in Project media to add it to the timeline.

  2. Set the format and crop

Choose the final aspect ratio. Fill can crop faces, details or embedded text at the edges. Use Fit entire clip to keep the whole image with black borders when those details matter.

  3. Set image durations

Select each image clip and adjust Image duration. Give detailed images more reading time and keep the whole edit within three minutes.

  4. Add the final touches

Reorder the images, enter short manual titles and choose an uploaded soundtrack. Select cut, fade to black or dissolve for the sequence.

  5. Export and watch

Save and export MP4. Check the final transition timing, image order, title readability and soundtrack ending.

Check your final MP4

  • Each photo remains on screen long enough to understand.
  • The chosen crop preserves faces, details and any text within the source image.
  • The final MP4 has the intended sequence and its titles still align after transitions.

Common mistakes and how to fix them

Expecting photo-to-video animation
A slideshow displays still images for a chosen time. If you want an image's subject to move, generate an image-to-video clip first, then add that result to the edit.
Forgetting transition overlap
A dissolve overlaps adjacent media. The final video can be shorter than the sum of the image durations, so review the export rather than counting only the timeline seconds.

Questions about this workflow

How long can each image stay on screen?
Each still-image clip can last from 0.5 to 30 seconds. The complete montage must stay within 20 clips and 180 seconds.
Can I mix photos and video clips?
Yes. The timeline can contain still images and video clips from the project. Images use Image duration; videos use their In/Out times.
Does the slideshow automatically zoom or animate images?
No. This workflow displays still images and applies the selected transitions during export. For moving image content, generate an image-to-video clip first.
