Editing workflow

Add music to a video and balance the original sound

To add music in Kublaro, upload an audio file to the project, open the editor's Audio panel and choose it under Background music. Adjust Music volume and keep or mute the original clip audio. The uploaded soundtrack starts at the beginning of the edit and is mixed into the final MP4.

Sign in to save a project and export your edit. Monthly plans start at USD 10/month. Video generation requires a paid plan; the studio shows the credit quote before generation.

Before you start

Prepare a music file you have permission to use and an edit with at least one video or image clip. Choose a track long enough for the sequence. The editor selects one uploaded soundtrack; it is not a built-in song licensing catalog.

A practical example

A quiet bed under a spoken product demo

For a 20-second demo with spoken instructions, keep Original audio and start with a low music volume, then listen and adjust. For a silent image montage, mute original clips and use the soundtrack on its own. Volume is a starting choice; the exported mix decides whether speech is clear.

How to do it in Kublaro

  1. Prepare your timeline

Add and arrange the visuals first so you know the duration the music needs to cover.

  2. Upload the audio

In Audio, choose Upload audio and add the file to your project. Wait for it to appear in Background music.

  3. Select the soundtrack

Choose the uploaded file. It plays from the beginning of the sequence; selecting No music removes the soundtrack from the edit.

  4. Balance the sound

Keep or mute Original audio and adjust Music volume. Use Clip volume for individual scenes if their source audio differs.

  5. Export and listen

Save and export the MP4. Listen on speakers and headphones, including the final seconds, to catch clipping, inaudible speech or a short soundtrack.

Check your final MP4

  • The soundtrack covers the part of the edit that needs music.
  • Speech stays understandable at normal playback volume.
  • The last seconds have the ending you intended and the exported file contains the audio.

Common mistakes and how to fix them

Looking for music in the visual media list
The video/image list adds visual clips. Uploaded audio is selected separately in the Audio panel's Background music field.
Muting clips to remove all sound
Muting original audio leaves the soundtrack enabled. Choose No music as well if you want a silent export.

Questions about this workflow

Can I keep voice audio and add background music?
Yes. Keep original audio, select a soundtrack and adjust the music volume. You can also change the volume of individual clips.
Does the editor supply licensed songs?
This workflow uses audio you upload to the project. The editor does not provide a licensed music catalog. Use a track whose usage rights cover your intended publication.
Can I move or loop the music track?
The current soundtrack control selects one uploaded file and its volume. This workflow does not provide a movable multitrack audio timeline, a loop control or automatic beat synchronization.
